Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the resort was overall quite enjoyable, especially with the stunning view of the mountains from our cabin and the clean, well-kept facilities. However, we did notice that the cabins could benefit from a bit of updating and more thorough cleaning before arrival. The outdoor space, including the firepit, was a lovely addition that we appreciated.
I had a mixed experience at this resort. The area is incredibly beautiful, especially at night with the campfire pits, but I was disappointed with the room quality and cleanliness. The staff seemed friendly, yet there were issues with our stay that were hard to overlook. For the price we paid, I expected more comfort and better facilities.
My stay was a mixed bag. The location in the woods was stunning, perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings and riding the Tail of the Dragon. However, the cabin we stayed in felt a bit outdated and had some cleanliness issues. The service was responsive, but I struggled with the lack of Wi-Fi in our cabin, making it hard to plan activities. Overall, a beautiful area but with some shortcomings in the accommodations.
I had high hopes for this resort given its location near the beautiful Fontana Dam and across the Appalachian Trail. However, our cabin was in poor condition with appliances that barely worked and cleanliness issues that were hard to overlook. While the surroundings were picturesque, the state of our lodging made the experience disappointing. The restaurant on-site was okay but didn’t quite meet expectations for quality.
The resort has a stunning location surrounded by nature, which is truly a standout feature. However, the cabin we stayed in was quite outdated and not up to par with cleanliness. The kitchen setup was challenging, making meal preparation difficult, and the TV reception was very poor, which added to the frustration. On a positive note, the tranquil atmosphere really allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery around us.
